Pet is about, you guessed it pets. Emily Taylor explores the cute, cuddly and downright bizarre relationship that people form with their pets in life and in death.
The one hour show is full of witty one-liners, outrageous raps and multiple personalities. Taylor is an incredible sketch artist and through some ludicrous characters exposes all the craziness that being a dog or cat OR guineapig person entails.
The crowd is taken on a rollercoaster of funny, ridiculous and downright awkward by this enormous talent. Taylor got everybody in the room involved in multiple sketches and wasn’t afraid to look ridiculous. She put her whole body and face on the line to keep the laughs coming.
Kids are mentioned in the show but leave them at home for this one. Taylor throws in a few perfectly timed dirty words to keep you on the edge of your seat and remind you being a pet owner is a filthy business.
The show is running the length of the Comedy Festival and you won’t be disappointed with what Emily Taylor serves up. She dances, she sings, she drools and she makes the crowd laugh.
